Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Warehouse Associate to support our day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, and material preparation for projects. The primary focus of this role is maintaining an organized, accurate, and efficient warehouse while ensuring materials and equipment are properly received, stored, staged, and prepared for upcoming projects.

The Warehouse Associate will also serve as a backup/reserve driver as needed, assisting with material deliveries, pickups, and transportation to job sites throughout the Tri-State Area when additional driving support is required. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities – Warehouse Operations
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments; verify quantities and accuracy against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation.
  • Pick, pack, organize, and stage materials, equipment, and supplies for upcoming projects based on project schedules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and physical counts of equipment, stock, tools, and project‑specific materials.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to ensure materials are properly stored, clearly identified, and easily accessible.
  • Label, track, and organize incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Assist with routine inventory counts, audits, cycle counts, and stock replenishment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate when materials need to be reordered or replenished.
  • Load and unload deliveries while ensuring materials are handled safely and properly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including clear aisles, organized staging areas, and debris‑free floors.
  • Coordinate with Project Management, Operations, Purchasing, and field teams to ensure materials are prepared and available when needed.
  • Assist with warehouse organization, equipment maintenance, and special projects as assigned.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment as authorized.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Foster an inclusive work culture that incorporates the Mason Family values.
Backup / Reserve Driver Responsibilities
  • Serve as a backup driver as needed to support the company's delivery and transportation needs.
  • Deliver and pick up materials, tools, equipment, and supplies from vendors, warehouses, and job sites throughout the Tri-State Area.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Safely operate company vans, pickup trucks, and other company vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Verify delivery and pickup documentation and ensure materials arrive at the correct location.
  • Communicate with Project Managers, Operations, and warehouse personnel regarding deliveries and pickups.
  • Assist with urgent or time-sensitive deliveries when required.
  • Maintain company vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Perform driving responsibilities only as needed based on business and operational requirements.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Previous experience driving vans, pickup trucks, or light‑duty commercial vehicles preferred.
  • CDL is a plus but not required.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred; willingness to become certified is required.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50+ lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately track and manage inventory and materials.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Tri-State Area when serving as a backup driver.

Salary: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, In-Person

Expected Hours: 40–50 hours per week

We are currently only considering candidates who already live within commuting distance of our office. This role is not open to relocation, and relocation assistance is not provided.
