Job Summary:

JCS Solutions has a need for a Warehouse Associate – (Delivery Driver/Freight Clerk) to join our growing team supporting our growing team providing support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), and other Air Force activities within the AF National Capital Region (AFNCR) missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB). The position is 100% on-site at Joint Base Ancostia-Bolling (JBAB). What you will do:
The specific duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
  • Manage, Maintain, and deploy IT equipment while tracking the lifecycle via a CMDB such as Remedy.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on all accountable IT assets. There are more than 50,000 accountable configuration items at this time, which require an inventory touch each year through automated or manual means.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables as required by the contract.
  • Deploy IT equipment for Tech Refresh, Deskside Support, and Routine Requirements requests and meet all Service Level Requirements (SLA).
  • Identify obsolete, broken and out of warranty equipment.
  • Provide daily inventory reports as well as maintain a threshold of assets for deployments.
  • Handle all duties pertaining to the processing, organizing, and packing of goods that are sent to warehouses for storage.
  • Take inventory of all warehouse goods and operate all material handling equipment to load and unload goods.
  • Supports product workflow that affects production, distribution, and inventory.
  • Reviews and adheres to procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
  • Ensures rational distribution and delivery according to analysis report and tracking records.
  • Participates in the day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance / repair activities.
  • Prepares requisition documents and forwards to applicable sources.
  • Maintains the document register, assigns document numbers, and records the status and demand for material.
  • Monitors the status of requisitions in the document register.
  • Provides status to customers and maintains a register of cancelled requisitions.
  • Supports a monthly reconciliation of the document register and assists with appropriate courses of action.
  • Maintain stock control levels and reorders parts.
  • Requisitions, receives, stores, issues, segregates, cares, preserves, inspect, and accurately inventories equipment and repair parts. Processes repairable/turn-in items.
  • Maintain accountability of equipment and equipment/supply stockage.
  • Participates in the conduct of routine market surveys.
  • Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Knowledge in shipping, receiving, storing, issuing stock control measures and accounting procedures.
  • Knowledge in handling, movement, storage, and maintenance of ammunition, medical and food supplies.
  • Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports.
  • Review and verify quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents.
  • Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment.
  • Construct bins, shelving and other storage aids.
  • Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data.

What you will bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with hardware asset management functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Office, MS Teams)
  • Must be committed to customer service, well organized, able to plan and prioritize assignments, and able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be courteous and professional when interacting with colleagues and customers, demonstrate a solid ability to identify and solve problems, and be able to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Must be able to drive box truck and utilize manual or motorized pallet jack
  • Able to obtain a DOT certification
  • Knowledge of basic military logistics, supply and maintenance shop operations.

  • Has a CAMP or CHAMP Certification
