Thermal Supply, a Daikin Comfort Technology company with 23 locations in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver. Thermal Supply is a wholesaler of heating, air conditioning equipment parts, refrigeration, and supplies.

The Driver and Warehouse person is responsible for the safe operation of company trucks for timely delivery of products to customer and company locations. The role includes loading, unloading, and transferring products using various equipment and forklifts within the branch, trucks/trailers, and sites. Effective customer service skills are essential, along with assisting with warehouse and front counter duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and deliver products to customer sites within designated time frames safely, using the most efficient routes.
• Maintain logs and reports to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Properly load, block, brace, and secure cargo.
• Ensure compliance with driving and transportation laws.
• Operate forklifts safely to transfer, load, and unload products, ensuring accuracy.
• Perform pre- and post-checks on vehicles and forklifts.
• Assist with warehouse duties, ensuring correct product handling.
• Report accidents, damages, or violations immediately to management.
• Follow safety and housekeeping practices at all times.
• Act as backup for warehouse and front counter duties as needed.
• Support additional projects and duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and ordering.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.

• Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without accommodations. Annual DOT screening required.
