Job summary

Odeko is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Hyattsville, MD to pull customer orders with an RF scanner, lift items up to 60 pounds, and move inventory using pallet jacks or hand trucks. The role requires basic English proficiency and offers a pathway to growth within a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities include assembling packages, assisting with inventory, loading items for delivery, and keeping the fulfillment center organized and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand/speak English.
• Experience as Warehouse Worker or Picker-Packer preferred.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pull items to build customer orders using an RF scanner.
• Move boxes up to 60 pounds throughout the fulfillment center.
• Operate a hand truck, pallet jack or electric pallet jack to move inventory.
• Ascend a platform ladder occasionally to pull items.
• Assemble customer packages and assist with packing.
• Assist with inventory counting and inspection.
• Assist with loading/unloading merchandise to delivery vehicles.
• Organize and clean the warehouse and perform assigned tasks.

$19/ hr paid weekly // schedule/hours - Monday through Thursday 9 AM - 2 PM

What Your Shift Will Look Like

• Using an RF scanner, identify and pull items to build customer orders
• Frequently move boxes weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the fulfillment center
• Operate a hand truck, pallet jack, or electric pallet jack to move inventory across the fulfillment center
• Occasionally ascend a platform ladder to pull customer items
• Assemble customer packages
• Assist with inventory management, including counting and inspecting items
• Assist with the loading and unloading of merchandise and non-inventory in and out of delivery vehicles, trucks, and vans
• Organizing and cleaning the warehouse
• Perform all tasks as assigned
• Must be able to read, write, & understand/speak English
