Immediate Warehouse Associate Opportunity

Material Handler- Days (7:00am to 3:30pm)

Salary Compensation:$16/hour

$500 Sign on Bonus*

Job Summary:

TheMaterial Handlerposition is responsible for a variety of different warehouse duties. He or she will be responsible for pulling materials from multiple warehouses to fulfill production requirements.Material Handlersmust have high attention to detail and pull items at a fast pace in order to meet their key performance indicators safely and accurately. He or she also supports functions in shipping, receiving and inventory control.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently pull materials for transfer requests.
• Operate forklifts to move, pull, load and unload orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
• Assist Inventory Control with performing cycle counts.
• Use handheld scanning devices and inventory management system daily.
• Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
• Motor Vehicle Record Screening.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be hard working and able to work in a fast-paced, goal oriented environment.
• Must be punctual and self-motivated.
• Ability to work individually and with a team.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping and climbing.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without restriction, using proper safety methods.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Computer literacy required; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and the Internet.
• Demonstrated ability in basic mathematics.
• Must be extremely detail oriented.
• Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens including, but not limited to: wheat, soy, egg, milk, celery and mustard.
• Ability to work in open environments, exposed to pungent odors and varying climates.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience.
