Warehouse Associate (Days - B shift) Kansas City 2

The team member in this position checks trucks in and out using WMS and is responsible for the quality and efficiency of trailer loading/unloading, including pallet handling. The team member will operate a forklift or work with the LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system. Responsibilities include checking outbound trailers prior to loading, monitoring LGV activity, following SOPs to maintain inventory accuracy, prepping loads for shipments, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Essential Functions

• Receive all inbound orders into WMS: spring water, resin, materials, deliveries, etc.
• Rebuild damaged pallets and process RMAs.
• Consolidate finished goods storage, identify and report quality issues, validate SKUs, correct LGV alarms, monitor loads, unload deliveries, maintain storage areas, and manage product spills.
• Operate forklifts as needed, facilitate the flow of information, and coordinate preload activities.
• Ensure timely truck check-ins, provide loading documents, maintain records, and participate in process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse, and ensure regular attendance.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0 years experience in a manufacturing environment or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, in the role, and managing people/projects

Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
