Job summary

Cencora in Minnesota is seeking a warehouse associate to support our distribution operations. The role involves receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory tasks using forklifts in a climate-controlled facility.

The position requires adherence to safety and quality standards and the ability to work the listed shifts. We offer a starting pay of $19.50 per hour with opportunities to earn more through incentive programs and a $2000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience and the ability to operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, and stage orders; process returns; assist with shipping and inventory.
• Verify received merchandise against records and inspect discrepancies.
• Stock shelves and prepare customer orders for packing and shipment.
• Enter orders and returns in the system and perform daily inventory counts.
• Operate forklifts and reach trucks as required; training for new associates may be provided.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details

5.30am to finish; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Pay Details

Pay starting at $ 19.50/hr with potential for up to $ 24.79/hr based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• General areas of responsibility include a combination of one or more of the following duties; receiving, picking and staging customer orders, returns, shipping and inventory organization, management and control.
• Verifies merchandise received against record of shipment, inspects and reports discrepancies and any obvious defects.
• Stocks shelves, ensuring materials are in their designated areas.
• Assembles customer orders from stock by pulling items from shelves and placing them in totes to be packed and shipped. Identifies quantities and customer specifications.
• Enters orders, returns and related data in the computer system.
• Inspects returned items and returns merchandise to proper shelf in the warehouse.
• Accurately completes daily inventory counts and researches discrepancies.
• Assists with inventory procedures as requested.
• May perform controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment.
• Mandatory use of forklifts, reach trucks and/or other motorized equipment to move inventory.
• May assist in training new associates.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

• Forklift Experience
• Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
• Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.

Nice To Have

• Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)
• Able to work with RF scanning equipment

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
