Job summary

Cardinal Health in Syracuse, NY hires for an Order Picker role in a fast-paced warehouse. You will accurately pick products, perform quality checks, pack orders, and prepare shipments for dispatch. The role requires flexibility to cover overtime and various shifts.

Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are emphasized as you cross-train across warehouse areas and participate in projects. Training and certification for MHE may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20–30 ft.
• Must be flexible to overtime as needed.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic reading/writing in English required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, QC checks, packing, and preparing for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment.

Shift/Schedule

40 hours weekly 1st Shift / Day Shift Tuesday - Saturday 7:00am - 3:30pm Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm Must work until tasks are completed Must be flexible to work other hours or days if needed

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross‑training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.

Qualifications

• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
