Compensation:

This position is hourly, starting at $20/hour, with three raises within 12 months potentially increasing pay to $21.20/hour.

• + $1/hour for powered industrial equipment (PIE) operators**

Trailer Loaders Wanted!!!

Primary Function:

Performs tasks related to receipt, storage, and shipment of products, meeting productivity, quality, safety, behavioral, and attendance expectations. Uses established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete inbound and outbound transactions within a distribution center.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely perform warehouse functions using established processes, procedures, and tools, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and attendance standards are met.
• Tasks may include unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, shipping, and making boxes.
• Comply with Grainger policies, guidelines, and procedures, as well as OSHA and hazardous material regulations concerning storage, handling, and movement of products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment through housekeeping duties.
• Participate in process improvements utilizing Grainger’s quality system.

Essential Functions and Requirements:

• Ability to tolerate environments with heat, cold, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
• Meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance requirements, including overtime as needed.
• Continuously lift up to 75 pounds and operate warehouse vehicles and handling equipment.
• Operate PIE equipment such as Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, and Turret Truck.
• Work at various elevated stations throughout the DC.
• Operate computerized scanning equipment.
• Work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• 6-12 months of warehouse or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment & Impact:

This role reports to a Distribution Center Supervisor or Process Manager and interacts regularly with other associates. The position's efficiency impacts customer satisfaction and profitability, requiring compliance with OSHA and hazardous materials guidelines.
