Job summary

POOLCORP, Riverhead NY location, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately receive/pull orders in a fast-paced setting. You will help load delivery trucks, log shipments into inventory, and coordinate with staff to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and forklift experience with active certification. Prior warehousing or distribution work is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Prior forklift experience is required.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, and maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and maintains certification.
• Assists in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
