Job summary

Wesco is hiring Warehouse Associates to join our Roanoke, VA operations. You will perform receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and general maintenance in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role requires basic computer skills, problem-solving ability, and the stamina to lift up to 50 pounds while on your feet for extended periods. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required/ entry level.
• 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and general maintenance of assigned areas.
• Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipments
• Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts
• Relocate and consolidate material
• Prepare and assemble packing lists
• Pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks
