• Reads production schedule and orders to determine items to move, gather or distribute.
• Conveys materials from receiving to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials on racks, shelves or bins according to size, type or product code.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to production workers or the shipping department.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares pallets for packing and shipping.
• Maintains inventory records and uses computer to enter records.
