Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Holliston, MA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, stock, prepare and ship merchandise to local and outlying customers. The role is full‑time, Mon‑Fri, 7:30am–4:00pm, with a $20.00 hourly wage and steady work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker, lifting 40-60 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods.
• Ability to complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Ability to operate Voice to Pick System or Radio Frequency (RF) system.
• High school diploma or GED; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm quantity and unit of measure.
• Load merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for reserve to pick slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and vendor compliance.
• Adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, 'Preferred Method Standard'.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous knowledge of SAP
• One year warehouse experience and previous forklift certification.

• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, containing toxic or caustic chemicals, low voltage electrical equipment, and vibration.
  The noise level in the work environment usually is loud.
• This is a full-time position.
• Must have the ability to work a varied schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays.
• Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.
• The position does not require travel.
