Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises in Metairie, LA is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will pull and prepare outbound customer orders, operate a stand-up forklift, and help stock materials while following safety procedures.

You will work Monday–Friday 7am-3:30pm with overtime as needed, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
• HVAC product knowledge preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Self-starter with ability to learn systems quickly
• Commitment to safety regulations and PPE usage

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Keep workspace clean and safe, adhering to safety regulations.
