Job summary

Volt is hiring a Distribution Center Clerk (Warehouse Associate) in Melville, NY for a full-time shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM ET. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour with benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), sick time, and EAP.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, stocking, labeling, and maintaining inventory while ensuring safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate has warehouse or shipping experience, basic computer skills, and the

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment including Electric pallet jack, Hi-Lo/Forklift, Wave machine and warehouse lifts
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks and shipments safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory
• Open, unpack, sort, and process shipments
• Stock products and materials in designated warehouse locations
• Apply labels, barcodes, and repack items as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and productivity standards
• Support shipping, receiving, and general distribution center operations
