• Maintains a safe, orderly, and efficient assembly area.
• Works closely with the warehouse, providing support in the warehouse when assembly is slow?
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Act in a safe and positive manner, ensuring personal and coworker safety.
• Complete accident/incident reports for safety or health infractions.
• Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.

Day Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday

Location: Rochester, NY

Position Summary: We are looking for the next employee to join our team. This position requires assembly of fabricated parts as well as wiring and adjusting subassemblies to complete units for customer specification.

Position Responsibilities

• Assembles fabricated parts, wiring and adjusting subassemblies to complete units.
• Uses hand tools when necessary.
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Packs finished product in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures to perform the functions of the job.
• Maintains a safe, orderly, and efficient assembly area.
• Works closely with the warehouse, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer. When the assembly area is slow, provide support in the warehouse reporting to the warehouse supervisor.
• Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility.
• Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed.
• Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.
