Job summary

ABL WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTORS is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to perform order picking, stocking, receiving, loading, and general warehouse support. You will work across areas as needed and help ensure efficient operations.

The role requires basic math, fluent English, attention to detail, and the ability to operate or learn forklifts and pallet jacks. Overtime may be required, and safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English and possess basic math skills.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment preferred.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willing to work across multiple warehouse areas including freezer/cooler.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate and retrieve products using the Pick Right system.
• Use handheld scanners to scan barcodes, pick items, and complete orders accurately.
• Prepare boxes and packages properly for customer delivery.
• Scan, locate, and stock inventory in the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Receive and process incoming deliveries in a timely manner.
• Assist in various warehouse functions including picking, receiving, stocking, loading, and other operational duties as assigned.
• Rotate work assignments and support multiple areas of the warehouse during the shift.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, ladders, and other tools safely and in accordance with company procedures and training.
• Back up 16'-26' box trucks or vans for loading when required.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety procedures, health policies, and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned based on operational and business needs.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to climb step ladders and work at varying heights when necessary.
