Job summary

Acara Solutions in Plainfield, IN is seeking 1st and 2nd shift Warehouse Workers for our client. 1st shift 5:00 am–1:30 pm; 2nd shift 1:00 pm–9:30 pm, with up to 2 hours overtime when requested. Pay: $17.00/hour (1st shift) or $18.70/hour (2nd shift).

Responsibilities include receiving goods, verifying documents, data entry, storage and inventory, packing, and shipping documentation. English literacy and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Accept incoming goods and compare them with the shipping document (material number, description, quantity).
• Check incoming goods for visible damage, document them and provide the required information.
• Capture relevant data in data processing systems.
• Arrange the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and record them in the appropriate systems.
• Organize regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
• Assemble deliveries from given storage compartments and review for completeness and accuracy (e.g., quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
• Complete packaging of deliveries in accordance with shipping instructions, common dispatch methods, packaging types and other guidelines (e.g., Dangerous Goods).
• Add the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
• Complete transports inside and, if applicable, outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate transportation means.
