Job summary

Grainger's Distribution Center in Roanoke, TX is hiring a full-time Distribution Center Associate for onsite warehouse operations. Responsibilities include inbound/outbound tasks, picking, packing, labeling, and maintaining inventory integrity while adhering to safety standards.

You will report to a DC Supervisor and operate scanning equipment in a fast-paced environment. The role offers an hourly wage starting at $20.65 with raises to $21.85, plus up to $1/hr for PIE operators and overnight

Qualifications

• Comfort standing for long periods with exposure to heat, cold, noise and dust.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• PIE operators: operate powered industrial equipment including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, Turret Truck and Forklift.

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, label, replenish, audit, pick and pack products with accuracy.
• Ensure correct shipping to meet customer expectations for quality and speed.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, attendance and overtime requirements.
• Operate scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe workspace per OSHA and hazardous material rules.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.
