Warehouse Associate – Dallas, Texas (On-Site)

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking, sorting and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing and organizing inventory, and ensuring that the warehouse is clean and orderly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Unload, sort, label, and store products appropriately in designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all received goods.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
  • Use barcode scanners and other tools to ensure the correct products are selected.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management.
  • Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts and audits.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring it is clean, safe, and accessible.
  • Prepare and process shipments, including labelling and documentation.
  • Ensure outgoing shipments are accurate and secure.
  • Coordinate with logistics companies and carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Comply with company policies and legal regulations regarding warehouse operations.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.

EDUCATION / TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS or associate’s degree and three years’ experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Highly desirable: previous warehouse experience, OSHA and/or forklift certifications
