Kleen – Rite Corp is hiring for a Warehouse Associate in the Small-Package Department in the Mount Joy, PA warehouse. The Small-Package Customer Pick Up (CPU) Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking customer's orders and staging for pick-up in a timely manner. The Small-Package CPU Warehouse Associate must be detail-orientated to ensure accuracy with orders and be able to interact with customers in a professional manner. This individual will be working directly with the customers and assisting them to load orders onto their vehicle, which includes standard pickup trucks or box trucks.

Warehouse & Forklift Experience is Required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow all established procedures for each department within the Distribution Location, including all maintenance and safety procedures.
• Achieve proficiency standards within each department, as directed by your supervisor and set by the respective Distribution Center Manager. Individuals are expected to meet department standards when completing tasks across various departments.
• Parts Picking – Quickly, accurately and efficiently pick parts from bins listed on orders.
• Use Forklift to safety and accurately pick items in reserve and freight locations as needed and directed by your supervisor.
• Restock pick locations as needed if overflow available.
• Parts Packing – Securely and efficiently pack parts orders into shipping containers, label boxes for shipment using computers, software and technology as needed.
• Use Forklift to safely and accurately load CPU orders in to the customers vehicle. This includes being able to organize the customers order to their specification.
• Minimize shipping orders by consolidating customer orders to as few boxes as appropriate, taking into consideration shipping requirements for products and boxes are not overloaded.
• Use computers and hand-held equipment where necessary.
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in warehouse position.
• Must be able and willing to drive a Forklift, 6 months experience required, certification a plus.
• Must be able to occasionally work outside in varying weather conditions to load customer orders with a forklift into their vehicles (standard pickup truck or box truck included).
• Must be willing and able to learn new technology and computer programs such as: RF Scanners, Printing Programs, components of MS Office Suite and NetSuite.
• Be punctual, reliable, and prepared for work during work days and hours.
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to read documents written in Standard English text.
• Enjoy working independently as well as in a team-environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must work within the framework of the Kleen-Rite Corp. Values and Mission Statement.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk for long periods of time within a Warehouse Setting, completing similar, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 75 lbs on a daily basis.
• Must be able to maneuver 55-gallon (500lb) drums properly and safely.
• Must be able and willing to occasionally push, pull and lift products/packages exceeding 75 lbs, using a team lift assist when needed. Must be able to reach above shoulder level frequently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons.
• Must be able to regularly use warehouse equipment such as step stools, ladders and other tools to assist to retrieve products above ground level.
• Able to work around equipment, forklifts, large trucks, and loud noise.
• Be able to use and work with a computer, and other technology that regularly requires you to be within 20 inches of a computer/electronic screen.
