Pay rate: $20.10 per hour

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations ensures an uninterrupted flow of life-saving drugs through the pharmaceutical supply chain. We are responsible for performing essential tasks such as receiving, storing, and shipping sensitive products. Our work directly supports hospitals and pharmacies in delivering critical pharmaceutical products to patients in need.

Responsibilities in this role

  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to process orders, including accurate picking, quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing shipments.
  • Work in cold temperatures throughout parts of the shift.
  • Participate in cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and engage in projects as assigned by management.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, perform housekeeping, and adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, you could be a great fit. All training is provided starting on your first day!

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working at heights of 20-30 ft
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift
  • Ability to work in cold storage temperatures of 38-43°F
  • Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with technologies like computers or point of sale systems is a plus
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
