Safely and efficiently stage, load, and unload finished product and raw materials through the use of material handling equipment, attachments, tools and accessories. Stock and maintain warehouse inventory & warehouse cleanliness at all times ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

· Outbound and inbound inventory receiving, etc,

· Complete damage reports, product, wrapping, pallet, bundle, crate, etc.

· Safely and timely prepare and load products for transport.

· Safely and timely stage products for loading.

· Safely and timely load products onto truck, and/or railcar.

· Move products safely into warehouse inventory storage.

· Move waste & scrap into dumpsters as needed.

· Responsible for quality control - damaged products.

· Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).

· Operate sit down forklifts and other material handling equipment.

· Perform daily forklift safety checks, preventive maintenance and report any issues.

· Communicate with team members and supervisors.

· Keep clean and maintain work area.

· Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.

· Maintains thankful, respectful, polite, and courteous attitude.

· Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification and applicable state certification for forklifts.
  • 2+ years of forklift experience working in similar industry. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience. Clamp exp preferred.
  • Good oral English and written communication skills.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
  • Ability to stay a team player and meet deadlines.
