Job summary

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a Warehouse Associate / 26-Foot Box Truck Driver in Pensacola, FL. This dual-role position combines driving deliveries with warehouse duties, in roughly a 50/50 split, adjustable by delivery schedules.

You will safely operate a 26-foot box truck, load and secure gutter products, and assist with receiving, staging, and inventory control. The role requires a valid driver's license and forklift experience, with a flexible schedule and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company and insurance requirements; ability to safely drive a 26-foot box truck is required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck, including maneuvering, parking, backing, and securing loads.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• Prior experience with 26-foot box truck deliveries, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and customer service.
• Ability and willingness to perform both 26-foot box truck delivery driving and hands-on Warehouse Associate duties, with a flexible daily schedule; work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the 26-foot box truck for deliveries per routes and safety requirements.
• Load, unload, and secure gutter products in the truck before transport.
• Verify orders delivered from the 26-foot box truck and obtain customer signatures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.

The Warehouse Associate / 26-Foot Box Truck Driver performs a dual role: approximately 50% driving a 26-foot box truck to make customer deliveries and 50% working as a Warehouse Associate. This 50/50 split is an estimate, not a fixed daily schedule. Some days may involve more 26-foot box truck driving, while other days may focus primarily on warehouse duties, depending on delivery schedules, customer needs, and operational priorities. The employee must be comfortable safely operating a 26-foot box truck and actively assisting with all assigned warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• DRIVING RESPONSIBILITIES — 26-FOOT BOX TRUCK (approximately 50% of role; may vary daily)
  Safely operate the company’s 26-foot box truck for scheduled deliveries, in accordance with applicable traffic laws, company procedures, and safety requirements.
• Complete accurate, timely customer deliveries using a 26-foot box truck, following assigned routes and delivery instructions.
• Load, unload, and properly secure gutter products and other materials inside the 26-foot box truck before transport.
• Verify orders delivered from the 26-foot box truck, confirm delivery accuracy, and obtain customer signatures as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the 26-foot box truck; promptly report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns.
• WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES (approximately 50% of role; may vary daily)
  Assist with receiving, storing, organizing, picking, and staging inventory and customer orders, including preparing materials for loading onto the 26-foot box truck.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Support inventory counts, audits, and quality control processes.
• Maintain accurate 26-foot box truck delivery logs, shipping records, and warehouse documentation.
• Move between driving the 26-foot box truck and hands-on warehouse assignments as directed. Daily schedules and the amount of driving versus warehouse work may change according to operational needs. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
