Job summary

Spectrum Gutter Systems is seeking a dual-role Warehouse Associate / 26-Foot Box Truck Driver in Islamorada, FL. You will split time between deliveries and warehouse tasks, loading and securing gutter products, handling inventory, and ensuring accuracy and safety on every shift.

The role requires a valid license, forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll work in a dynamic environment with changing daily schedules, supporting operations and serving customers directly.

The Warehouse Associate / 26-Foot Box Truck Driver performs a dual role: approximately 50% driving a 26-foot box truck to make customer deliveries and 50% working as a Warehouse Associate. This 50/50 split is an estimate, not a fixed daily schedule. Some days may involve more 26-foot box truck driving, while other days may focus primarily on warehouse duties, depending on delivery schedules, customer needs, and operational priorities. The employee must be comfortable safely operating a 26-foot box truck and actively assisting with all assigned warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• DRIVING RESPONSIBILITIES — 26-FOOT BOX TRUCK (approximately 50% of role; may vary daily) Safely operate the company’s 26-foot box truck for scheduled deliveries, in accordance with applicable traffic laws, company procedures, and safety requirements.
• Complete accurate, timely customer deliveries using a 26-foot box truck, following assigned routes and delivery instructions.
• Load, unload, and properly secure gutter products and other materials inside the 26-foot box truck before transport.
• Verify orders delivered from the 26-foot box truck, confirm delivery accuracy, and obtain customer signatures as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the 26-foot box truck; promptly report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns.
• WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES (approximately 50% of role; may vary daily) Assist with receiving, storing, organizing, picking, and staging inventory and customer orders, including preparing materials for loading onto the 26-foot box truck.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Support inventory counts, audits, and quality control processes.
• Maintain accurate 26-foot box truck delivery logs, shipping records, and warehouse documentation.
• Move between driving the 26-foot box truck and hands-on warehouse assignments as directed. Daily schedules and the amount of driving versus warehouse work may change according to operational needs. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company and insurance requirements; ability to safely drive a 26-foot box truck is required.
• Forklift experience required
• Experience or demonstrated ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck, including maneuvering, parking, backing, and securing loads.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• Prior experience with 26-foot box truck deliveries, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and customer service.
• Ability and willingness to perform both 26-foot box truck delivery driving and hands-on Warehouse Associate duties, with a flexible daily schedule; work independently and as part of a team.
