Job description

This is a full-time position, with typical hours from Monday to Friday, Morning to Afternoon.

JOB PURPOSE

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately handling the receipt, storage, and distribution of solar panel products and related materials. Using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, the role ensures the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers. The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting seamless operations, and contributing to the overall success of the supply chain by adhering to best practices in warehouse management and safety protocols.

This full-time, first-shift position supports the company's mission to provide high-quality renewable energy solutions by conducting all warehouse activities with precision, efficiency, and a focus on safety.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Count, verify, and manually unload incoming orders and shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and ship products/orders.
  • Verify and load outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles.
  • Ensure safety and proper performance of helpers on property, job site, and in transit.
  • Use proper safety gear, including hard hats and steel-toe shoes.
  • Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Manage inventory in designated storage areas.
  • Operate forklifts for moving inventory.
  • Perform yard and office maintenance, including cleaning and painting.
  • Provide quality customer service with clear communication.
  • Perform delivery duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Satisfactory driving record per company policy.
  • Highly organized and self-directed.
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills (listening, reading, verbal, written).
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail, time management.
  • Proficient math skills.
  • Ability to communicate within all organizational levels.
  • Technical skills for data entry and communication.
  • Use of handheld devices and WMS system for inventory management.
  • Ability to perform all required duties effectively; reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear.
  • Climb or balance frequently; sit occasionally.
  • Move up to 2,500 lbs with a pallet jack.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs individually, up to 150 lbs with team lift.
  • Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, outdoor weather, vibration.
  • Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles; loud noise levels.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Willing to travel 5-10% of the time.
