Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for our Boerne location! This position will be second shift, working from 2pm until 10pm, Monday - Friday. Training will be on our first shift, Mon-Fri from 6am to 2pm, for the first month. Our facility is climate controlled and easy to get to - just a minute from I10!



Job Purpose


A Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely receiving and storing inbound raw materials; Dispersing raw materials to production areas in order to attain production goals. They are also responsible for accurately shipping finished goods on time to customers. Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy in stores and throughout production through monthly cycle counts and reporting results to accounting.




Job Responsibilities

Put Safety first at all times, never compromise on safety for the obtainment of other objectives. Responsible for health and safety of themselves and coworkers.



  • Daily material handling activities at the AEC Boerne site

    • Deliver and pick up materials, parts, and Kanban cards on designated replenishment routes at designated times

    • Work with VSLs, Team leads and Quality Techs with material flow between the stockroom, warehouse and the shop floor

    • Prepare materials to be delivered to Production

    • Perform weekly/monthly inventory counts

    • Ensure batch/lot (FIFO & FEFO) on material being transacted

    • Assist with hardware kits to support production needs

    • Perform all relevant SAP transactions and reporting

    • Loading and unloading freight vehicles with forklift and necessary material handling equipment

    • Package material for transport/storage as required

    • Work flexible hours to achieve daily departmental objectives

    • Understand and work on customer shipment schedules

    • Prepare outbound shipments and make necessary logistics arrangements

    • Prepare all outbound shipment documentation



  • Observe Safety policies, programs and initiatives including work place organization

  • Ensure that all company and governmental policies and procedures are adhered to.

  • Troubleshoot and assist in solving problems.

  • Drive continuous improvements in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Team.

  • Housekeeping and organization (5S) of the Warehouse work areas Interact and coordinate activities with other departments as necessary

Qualifications/Characteristics



  • High school/ Associates degree or equivalent experience. Experience may be substituted for education at management's discretion

  • Valid driver's license

  • SAP system experience preferred

  • Warehouse experience preferred

  • Must be able to demonstrate organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

  • Detail oriented in terms of documentation

  • Basic math skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Multitasking abilities

  • Safely operate a forklift, reach truck lift, and other material handling equipment and be able to obtain certifications

  • Computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, SAP)

  • Complete IATA, IMG and ground Dangerous Goods certification as required

  • Perform Warehouse functions as required

  • Ability to communicate in English via written and spoken words

  • Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Proper use of safety and personal protective equipment

  • SAP Warehouse Management System experience



Working Conditions


Indoor production environment, adequate lighting and comfortable temperatures, some work outside may be required, Occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery with mechanical moving parts. Ability to work 24/7 schedule and be available as business situations required, overtime dependent on business need.



Physical requirements


Occasionally positions self to move an item >10 lbs.


Frequently move about the production floor and office area to attend meetings or trainings


Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time


Frequently operates a computer, enters data into systems, verifies information, etc...
