Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver in Washington for the 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule with occasional overtime. You will safely operate a stand-up forklift, prepare orders, and manage pallets using RF devices.

The role also involves delivering materials to customers, receiving and stocking incoming goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while following safety regulations. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
• Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Ability to lift items that weigh over 50lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean and safe, and contribute to a safe facility.
• Deliver materials to the customer, including loading/unloading assistance and ensuring delivery tickets.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.

Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver!

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.


• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.


• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.


• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.


• Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material


• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests

Pay Range

$19.15 - $28.72

Estimated Ranges displayed is Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
