World Electric in North Port, FL is hiring a Warehouse Associate/Back-up Driver to support daily warehouse operations and occasional delivery duties. You will handle receiving, storing, and distributing materials, while preparing orders for customers and job sites.

This full-time position requires reading schedules and orders, operating RF guns, and maintaining accuracy with inventory software. A high school diploma and a clean driving record are required; familiarity with forklift/cherry picker

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record required.

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Associate / Back-up Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products.
• This role also serves as a back‑up delivery driver, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods to customers or job sites when needed.
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, packing slips, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Marks materials with identifying information and uses computer to enter records.
• Consolidates freight for shipping and communicates with sales associates or managers to meet customer needs.
