Job summary

North Coast Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate. The role includes order filling, warehouse upkeep, and safe delivery to customer sites. You will drive a forklift, cut wire to length, and back-up deliveries as needed.

A valid license and DOT card are required, with potential overtime based on business needs. You will work a typical 40-hour week, with possible evening/weekend shifts. Benefits include healthcare, PTO, 401(k) with match, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• DOT medical card or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to learn handheld scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral and written communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Fill and receive orders.
• Improve warehouse cleanliness.
• Perform general warehouse tasks.
• Safely operate forklift.
• Cut wire to custom lengths.
• Back-up delivery driver.
• Deliver to customer sites and other North Coast Electric locations.
• Conduct daily pre-route vehicle inspections using the DVIR.
• Ensure proper loading and securing of trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
