As a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver, you'll work under the guidance of the Branch Manager, handling warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, cylinder handling, stocking, and occasional counter sales, while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Your role is vital in maintaining safety standards and supporting our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse / Handler Operations:
   • Stock, label, pick, pack, and distribute materials and supplies.
   • Fill 18-22 LIN & LOX dewars daily.
   • Receive, check, and store delivered materials; conduct inventory checks.
   • Enforce policies for receipt, storage, and distribution; review invoices.
   • Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other equipment.
   • Follow safety rules and company policies.
2. Backup Driver Responsibilities:
   • Deliver compressed and liquid cylinders on scheduled routes.
   • Load/unload trucks, manage empty cylinders.
   • Maintain vehicle documentation and professional appearance.
3. Additional Responsibilities:
   • Organize inventory items.
   • Operate equipment as required.
   • Assist with inventory, housekeeping, displays, and demonstrations.
   • Perform backup duties as per daily checklist.
   • Assist customers with merchandise and cylinders.

Are you a MATCH?

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of Customer Service or Sales experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Welding knowledge preferred
• At least 21 years old
• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement
• Experience with compressed gases preferred
• Ability to lift 25-75 lbs., occasionally over 100 lbs., and push/pull up to 1000 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Visual capabilities including close, distance, color, and depth perception
