Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring for a full-time delivery and warehouse support role in Vancouver, WA. This position entails safe, reliable deliveries to customer sites, daily vehicle checks, and secure loading of goods while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates are 21+, detail-oriented, with a clean driving record and willingness to obtain a DOT medical card. The role may involve occasional evenings or weekends and supports a team-based, results-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Commitment to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
• Ability to learn the use of handheld scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT medical card or willing to obtain.
• Self-motivated and teamwork focused.

Responsibilities

• Safe and reliable delivery to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Electric locations.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Ensure the truck is loaded correctly, secured, and within the weight limit.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting and pulling heavy objects (50+ lbs.).
• Warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Typical 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday; however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
• Requires punctual regular, and reliable on-site attendance.

Additional Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, credit check, and motor vehicle record review, as permitted by law and required for the position.

Salary & Compensation

• This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
• Pay is $20/hour - $21.97/hour, DOE.
