Job summary

North Coast Electric is hiring for a warehouse and delivery role in Idaho. You will complete daily delivery routes to customer sites and North Coast locations, fill orders, and help maintain warehouse cleanliness.

The position requires operating a forklift, using handheld scanners, and ensuring loads are properly secured. Candidates should be 21+, possess a valid driver’s license and a DOT medical card or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Order filling/receiving.
• Improve warehouse cleanliness.
• General warehouse work.
• Safe forklift driving.
• Cutting wire to custom lengths.
• Safely and reliably complete daily delivery routes to customer job sites, industrial facilities, and other North Coast Electric locations.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Ensure the truck is loaded correctly, secured, and within the weight limit.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

• 21 years of age or older.
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
• Ability to learn the use of handheld scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT medical card or willingness to obtain one.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.).
• Warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Typical 40‑hour work‑week Monday through Friday; however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
• Requires punctual, regular, and reliable on‑site attendance.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
