Job Overview

Hood Distribution, a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings, and related wood products, is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Back-up Driver at our Millersburg, OH facility. Our customers include cabinet shops, millwork houses, retail lumber yards, and similar businesses.

Responsibilities

• Support all warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, loading, and unloading products.
• Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers.
• Deliver products safely and efficiently to customers, handling materials as needed.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Spend approximately 75% of your time in the warehouse and 25% driving local deliveries.

Qualifications

• Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Forklift experience.
• Valid Driver's License (Class A or B).
• 1 year of warehouse operations or distribution experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of lumber and plywood is a plus.
