Job summary

OneSource Distributors in California is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will read orders, pick and pack, and prepare shipments while ensuring accuracy and safety.

This non-exempt role offers a consistent 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, paid time off, retirement savings with company match, and opportunities for career growth within the Sonepar family.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required.
• High School diploma or GED; or 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Read orders such as customer, work, shipping and transfer orders to determine products to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Convey material and products from receiving area to storage or other designated areas.
• Scan, sort and place material on racks, shelves and/or bins according to predetermined warehouse location.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Complete cycle counts and verify quantities of stock on request.
• Backup driver on an as needed basis.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Long and varied hours required occasionally
• Ability to work mandatory physical inventory
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environment
• Ability to work in dusty conditions

Location / Work hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary Range:

This is non-exempt position that pays $20.00 - $24.50 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California.
