Job summary

Charles D. Jones Co. seeks a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver to handle inventory, packing, and timely deliveries from our Carbondale facility. You will maintain accurate records and assist with loading and unloading vehicles to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include safe driving, route adherence, and excellent customer service. A valid license and ability to lift 50–75 lbs are required; forklift certification is a plus or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred (but not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

• Warehouse Operations: Receive, inspect, and store inventory; pick, pack, and prepare orders; maintain inventory records; keep the warehouse clean and safe; operate pallet jacks or forklifts; assist with loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
• Delivery Driver Duties: Safely operate delivery vehicles; deliver products to customers; verify contents and obtain signatures; follow routes and schedules; perform basic vehicle inspections; provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Position Information

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles

Delivery Driver Duties

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles
• Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Verify delivery contents and obtain signatures as required
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
