Qualifications

• Must be over 19 to drive and have a valid driver’s license with a clean 7-year driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Warehouse experience with RF scanning and stock management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks and carts.
• Excellent reading of manifests, invoices, and orders.

Responsibilities

• Examine pallet loads and verify against records for accuracy.
• Stock material and maintain warehouse inventory levels.
• Pull orders and stage materials using hand-trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Deliver materials daily within the sales territory as needed.
• Report mechanical issues with delivery vehicle to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned and keep workspace clean.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE AND BACKUP DELIVERY DRIVERPosition Purpose:Warehouse duties include using RF scanning system to stock and pull materials, equipment, and other items for shipping or delivery.Truck Driving duties are as needed and include delivering material, product and equipment within the sales territory for the distribution center. MUST be over the age of 19 to drive; MUST have a Valid DL with clear 7-year Driving Record.Salary: $18 - $20 per hour (paid bi-weekly)Required Experience:• Sit down Forklift: 1 year (Required)• Warehouse: 1 year (Required)• Driving: 1 year (Preferred)• Box Truck Driving: 2-3 years (Preferred)• Materials handling: 1 year (Preferred)• RF Scanner: 1 year (Preferred)Job Responsibilities:· Examines pallet loads and package contents in order to compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment· Confers and corresponds with supervisors or sales representatives to resolve problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance specifications· Stock material, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory of stock· Pull orders and stage material in shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using work devices, such as hand-trucks, carts, pallet, jacks, and lift-trucks· General housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse· Makes deliveries daily to customers in the sales territory in an efficient manner, minimizing the time away from the warehouse while driving the vehicle in a safe & courteous manner.· Reports any mechanical issues with the delivery vehicle to the supervisor immediately.· Delivers or routes materials to shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using work devices, such as hand-trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.· Perform other duties as assignedRequired Experience/Knowledge/Skills:· Must have a clean 7-year driving history with no DWI· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen· Comfortable walking and standing for more than 80% of the work day.· Ability to read a map and follow directions to customer sites· 2-3 years of box truck driving experience· Must be able to drive a sit down forklift.· Good knowledge of basic math and reading skills· Active listening skills to contribute to effective communication.· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:• 401(k) and 401(k) matching• Medical Insurance• Vision Insurance• Dental insurance• Employee assistance program• Flexible spending account• Health savings account• Life insurance• Paid time offSchedule:• 8 hour shift• Day shift• Monday to FridayLanguage:• English (Preferred)License/Certification:• Current Driver's License with no DWI/DUI (Required)Work Location: One location; In-PersonWork Remotely: No
