Job Title

Warehouse Associate and Backup Delivery Driver

Position Purpose

Warehouse duties include using an RF scanning system to stock and pull materials, equipment, and other items for shipping or delivery. Truck driving duties are as needed and include delivering material, product and equipment within the sales territory for the distribution center.

MUST be over the age of 19 to drive; must have a valid driver’s license with a clear 7‑year driving record.

Salary

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, paid bi‑weekly.

Irving, TX 75062 | Full‑time, 8‑hour day shift, Monday to Friday.

Required Experience

• 1 year sit‑down forklift
• 1 year general warehouse
• 1 year driving (preferred)
• 2‑3 years box truck driving (preferred)
• 1 year materials handling (preferred)
• 1 year RF scanner (preferred)

Job Responsibilities

• Examine pallet loads and package contents to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
• Confere and correspond with supervisors or sales representatives to resolve problems such as damages, shortages, and non‑conformance specifications.
• Stock material, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory.
• Pull orders and stage material in the shipping or delivery area using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse.
• Make deliveries daily to customers in the sales territory efficiently, minimizing time away from the warehouse while driving safely and courteously.
• Report any mechanical issues with the delivery vehicle to the supervisor immediately.
• Deliver or route materials to the shipping or delivery area using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Knowledge / Skills

• Clean 7‑year driving history with no DWI.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Comfortable walking and standing >80% of the work day.
• Ability to read a map and follow directions to customer sites.
• 2‑3 years of box truck driving experience.
• Ability to drive a sit‑down forklift.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Active listening skills for effective communication.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
