Job summary

Cardinal Health in Columbus, OH is hiring a Warehouse Associate. Shift Monday–Friday 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, pay $20.10 per hour. You will receive and fulfill orders to ensure hospitals and doctors' offices have essential medicines.

You will perform picking, packing, and inventory tasks, operate material handling equipment after training, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for a shift of 8 hours or longer.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Comfortable working at heights of 25-30 feet regularly.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment with limited supervision and an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to comprehend and accurately process paperwork in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, quality checks, packing, data entry, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participation in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control and maintain a clean and safe work environment with required PPE.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.
