What You Will Do

• Dispose of dumpsters at the beginning of each shift.
• Monitor the floor daily for finished pallets that require wrapping.
• Manage the flow of materials between picking and wire/pipe production.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated route staging areas for correct loading.
• Regularly check the wire staging area for finished pallets that need to be moved to designated route lanes.
• Communicate progress and potential issues with immediate supervisors and managers.
• Collaborate with team members and leads regarding pallets and housekeeping tasks.
• Consult with the lead during slow periods to receive the next task.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to 6S principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
• High School diploma or G.E.D.; or
• 6 months of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Time management.
  
  

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• Occasional lifting and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse environment.
  
  

Shift: 5am-1:30pm

Location: This role is based in San Leandro, CA

Salary Range

• This is a non-exempt position and pays between $18.80 - $22.95 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
