Location: Albertville, MN

Job Summary

Supports warehouse operations, including receiving freight, checking for damages or shortages, distributing materials, filling orders, and maintaining inventory and safety standards.

Responsibilities

1. Receive incoming freight, inspect for damages or shortages, and distribute to correct locations.
2. Process special orders and backorders upon receipt.
3. Coordinate with departments, carriers, and vendors regarding discrepancies or damages.
4. Prepare and pack materials for delivery, understanding truck routes and shipment methods.
5. Maintain clean, safe work areas and proper inventory labeling and storage.
6. Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely, including vehicles if applicable.
7. Assist with customer service tasks such as order entry, returns, and Will Call operations.
8. Notify supervisors of maintenance, security, or safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Forklift operation knowledge and familiarity with electrical products are a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license and possibly a medical certification.
• Proficiency with Windows, Internet, email, and SAP software is advantageous.

Physical Requirements

Includes lifting, carrying, and moving materials of various weights, along with standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities, as detailed in the original description.

Additional Information
