Harbor Freight Tools in Joliet, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately handle inbound and outbound stock. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted and operating packaging and material movement equipment to move goods efficiently.

You will verify receiving and shipping documents, maintain accurate counts, and participate in a benefits program that includes early pay, health/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and PTO.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing stock.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, place and load incoming/outgoing stock which requires lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50lbs unassisted (maximum), 51+lbs assisted on an intermittent basis for up to twelve hours per day
• Verify receiving/shipping documents and accurate product counts
• Operate packaging and material movement equipment
• Additional duties as assigned by manager

The anticipated rate for this position is $23.00 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays).
