Job summary

CorTech International in Carson, CA is seeking a Material Handler I for the M-F shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. You will receive, ship, sort and store materials and work with the warehouse team to prepare orders for shipment.

Essential duties include moving materials from trucks and pallets, labeling, wrapping pallets, putting away goods, and using RF equipment to track inventory. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Move materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepare orders for shipment.
• Sort and segregate materials onto correct pallet or location based on item number.
• Place labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the process.
• Wrap pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies.
• Put away product in designated warehouse locations.
• Identify damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicate issues.
• Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environment
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Keep clean and safe work environment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations, including safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned
