GE HealthCare in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Materials Handler to store, pick, stage, and distribute materials used in assembly and manufacturing. The role operates in a fast-paced, local warehouse with an emphasis on accuracy and ERP system knowledge.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, be able to read and write English, and possess basic math and computer skills. Prior experience with Oracle or eDHR is a plus.

Executes the storing, picking, staging and distribution of materials required for assembly/manufacture of product.

Be able to work within a small, localized warehouse with fast paced environment. Oracle, eDHR experience a plus.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts
• Picks parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantity
• Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments
• Create and/or maintain transactional inventory records
• Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity
• Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies
• Fill kits and deliver to production as required
• Maintain stocking/inventory objectives
• Quantifies and verifies cycle count
• Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
• Perform warehouse distribution duties in compliance with current GDP as per annual GDP Training and local procedures' (Core Imaging Only)

Required Qualifications

• High school Diploma or local equivalent/GED
• Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language (English)
• Proficient in basic mathematics
• Ability to communicate well and work with others
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 35 lbs. alone, anything over 35 lbs. requires assistance.

Desired Characteristics

• Minimum 1 year experience in storing and material handling
• Knowledge of computerized material flow methods
• Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
• Oracle and eDHR experience preferred
• Prior experience using weight scales
