Job Description

Location: Minooka, IL

Functional Title: Warehouse Associate - Minooka RDC - 2nd Shift 191611

PAY: $21.00 per hour

Shift: This is a second shift position mainly working from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm.

Contract: THIS IS APPROXIMATELY A 90 DAY JOB ASSIGNMENT THAT COULD GO LONGER BUT IS NOT PROMISED.

Average hours per week: 35 - 38 hrs.

Interview Type: Per the manager’s request

Employee-paid medical benefits are available on the 1st of the month after your 1st day of work.

1 PTO day per month, on the 1st of each month.

11 Observed holidays.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse activities include picking and packing orders, sorting and put away of product, and use of pallet jacks.

Responsible for performing assigned warehouse activities for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, reverse, and inventory control, put away while achieving the highest standards of Quality, Productivity, and Customer Service levels to automotive retail centers.

Picking and packing automotive parts in the warehouse; should be comfortable lifting 50lbs and open to operating equipment like stock chasers (stand-up tugger); using handheld RF scanners.

Acting by the company’s core values and guiding principles.

Maintains strict compliance with all established policies and work rules.

May be required to use powered industrial equipment to perform assigned tasks.

Must be able to obtain/maintain required certifications and adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws.

May be required to process shipment of federally regulated Dangerous Goods.

Responsible for meeting/maintaining required levels of performance (i.e. quality, productivity, etc.) within the area of assignment.

Comply with the company’s Value-Added Production System (VPS) within the assigned area.

Required to maintain essential supplies on assigned equipment and/or work area.

Ensure a safe and clean environment is always maintained.

Performs other duties as assigned by the group’s supervisor.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Previous logistics or distribution experience will be required.

Knowledge of the general warehouse industry, best practices, and techniques.

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.

Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality – SAP preferred.

Proficient written and oral communication skills.

Ability to obtain all Dangerous Goods Certifications.
