The Warehouse Associate contributes to meeting Langham goals of exceptional customer service, quality, process improvement, and profitability by ensuring that the designated items and quantity of items are correctly picked, packed, and shipped according to client specifications, eliminating errors and claims.
Warehouse Associates perform a variety of duties including hand picking, packing, quality control, shipping, housekeeping, operating various types of Material Handling equipment such as Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Forklifts, Turret Trucks , sealing and/or banding shipments, receiving, etc. Warehouse Associates are generally assigned to specific customer lines or customers and may work a variety of shifts and may be asked to work overtime as customer needs fluctuate. Additionally, Warehouse Associates may be assigned to assist with other departments in the warehouse from time to time as needs change. These duties may also include that all shipments from the client coming into the warehouse are unloaded without damage; accurately checked, recorded, and entered into the database; and put away into the correct location.
AllWarehouse Associatesare expected to operate according to all safety and security guidelines. Any Warehouse Associate who operates any of our forklift equipment must be certified by Langham.

All Warehouse Associates, regardless of assigned area or duties, are expected to:
Ensure customer orders are correctly picked, packed and staged for being stored or shipped in a manner that reduces chances of damages to any goods in transit
Quality check the lines to ensure the correct parts are lined up in the correct order for packing.
Quality check all kits to ensure accuracy of parts/pieces picked prior to sealing; weigh kits as a quality control measure.
Deliver pallet of sealed boxes to staging areas for moving to storage, which may require use of forklift equipment.
Process shipping activities according to customer requirements (ex: UPS, FedEx, etc.).

Experience, education, degrees, licenses
High school diploma or GED required.
Forklift drivers must be able to pass forklift certification training.
Physical demands
Physical movements including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 poundsas part of daily work routine. Will be working on concrete in a warehouse environment (subject to heat and cold).
Forklift operators must be able to operate a variety of equipment: stand up and sit down lifts and order picker.
Work environment
Work is performed in a warehouse environment subject to temperature variances.
