Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift to support receiving, picking, packing and shipping in a busy distribution environment. The role requires safety-mindedness, accuracy, and the ability to operate or be certified on material handling equipment.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM or until completion of the work, with an hourly rate that reflects geographic location and experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Follow directions and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technologies like computers or POS systems is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Material Handling Equipment experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, packing, and preparing shipments.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment (MHE). Example equipment includes order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider.
