Job summary

Job Description

MATERIAL HANDLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Material Handler for a company based in Charleston , SC off Clements Ferry Road . In this role, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring that products are efficiently processed and prepared to meet customer demands.

Pay Rate
$18.000 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday - Weekends as needed

2 nd shift: 2 30 pm through 10 30 pm

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities
• Fold ing, tagging, and applying hangers to apparel items according to established standards
• Packaging apparel items accurately and securely to ensure safe transportation and delivery to customers
• Utilizing non-powered equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the distribution center
• Pick and Pack items
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous Warehouse experience is a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be detail-oriented with good organization al skills
