Warehouse Operations performs manual or automated tasks for receiving, storing, and shipping products, such as receiving, picking, packing, staging, transporting, and delivery, ensuring efficient flow from receipt to shipment for internal and external customers.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports outbound activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, maintaining quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. Inbound roles involve receiving products into the facility, while outbound roles focus on shipping products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders, including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, pallet building, wrapping, packing, and loading.
• Pick large case items with material handling equipment or small items and place on designated carts.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) for processing products.
• Operate material handling equipment such as order pickers, forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through housekeeping and inventory control.
• Handle routine tasks and resolve problems as they arise.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns to management.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for entire shift
• Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience with material handling equipment (preferred)
• RF scanner and voice pick experience (highly preferred)
• Ability to work overtime with little notice
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and rotate through warehouse areas
• Compliance with safety regulations and PPE requirements
