Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. seeks an industrious production associate for our Illinois refrigerated warehouse. You will select, pick, and pack orders with accuracy, using a finger scanner and WMS, while maintaining temperature-controlled conditions.

You will work Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday 2pm–10:30pm, collaborate with teammates to meet daily targets, and uphold food safety, GDP, and PPE guidelines. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use a finger scanner and a WMS interface to locate and select products from designated storage areas within the refrigerated warehouse.
• Safely and efficiently pack selected items into appropriate packaging, considering temperature-sensitive requirements for refrigerated products.
• Ensure that all picked items match customer orders and meet Misfits’ quality standards.
• Use the appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage or spoilage during transportation.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to identify any damages, discrepancies, or expiration issues.
• Work closely with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
• Verify and maintain inventory levels within your bay, communicating effectively with other teams to ensure timely replenishment and minimize disruptions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of PPE in a food-based, refrigerated environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace.
• Complete all assigned safety training as required in a timely manner.
• Maintain functional knowledge in all areas of the production line, including box building and prepping.
• Diligently adheres to all established facility food safety rules, personal hygiene standards, and GDP expectations daily.
• Promptly escalates food safety hazards and takes immediate action to halt production lines if product integrity is compromised or suspected of being compromised.
